Left 4 Dead 2 Cold Stream

Description :
Shooting your zombie pilot might seem like a good idea at the time, but in this campaign it only leads to fighting your way through a zombie filled warehouse section of town. Hold out in the truck yard until you can lower your escape truck and head to safety.
Make your way down a turnpike littered with abandoned cars to the nearby ghost town of Riverside—the site of a failed stand-off between the last of humanity and a limitless swarm of undead. Fight through the ruins of small town America to the waterfront nearby, where a rescue party can take you upriver to safety.
Guide your team of Survivors out of the downtown and onto the runway of Metro International Airport, where the only thing standing between you and the last plane out of the city is a murderous army of the undead.
Plunge through pitch-black forests, stumble blindly through fields of swaying corn, and take aim at the silhouettes leaping at you from the darkness—all towards finding a hold-out that might already have been abandoned to the horde.
This community created campaign throws you deep in the back woods to face thousands of zombies as you battle your way to a helicopter rescue. Don’t let the water or waves of zombies sweep you away to your death.

Perhaps it’s the slightly uneven difficulty. In Valve-designed maps, you constantly feel one step ahead of death. The zombies bear down on you, and you barely survive each encounter. Those moments exist in Cold Stream, but they’re definitely not common. And when they come, they come with fury. There’s a moment early in the campaign where you’re forced to fight your way down a raging deluge of water, all the while fighting off zombies. It sounds thrilling, but instead it’s far too chaotic and far too difficult.

For the Left 4 Dead veterans, however, the true value of the DLC lies in the re-release of four campaigns from the original game. Crash Course, Death Toll, Dead Air, and Blood Harvest are back, along with Zoey, Louis, Bill, and Francis. I know right? I missed those guys too. Plus, you get to play with the new toys that Left 4 Dead 2 introduced, like melee weapons and the ever-useless defibrillator, all in an attempt to survive the new Special Infected that seem to have invaded the old areas. Fresh!

Legends of Pegasus

Description:
Legends of Pegasus takes players into the depths of space. This 4X space simulation will put players in control of the last surviving humans, as they explore space in a quest to expand their galactic empire. Players will conquer and explore an incredibly detailed 3D universe as they use economic, diplomatic and scientific means to expand their empires. Through a deep technology tree, players will unlock new technologies to customize their ships and prepare their fleets for the next alien encounter ? be it hostile or friendly.

I have to give credit to Novacore Studios for attempting to add a storyline to the experience. There is a reason why 4X strategy games don’t have storied campaigns, as it is very difficult to corral players into a story while still giving them the freedom to explore the galaxy. Legends of Pegasus takes a page out of my favorite show, Battlestar Galactica, and has you commanding the remnants of the human race who were driven from Earth after a surprise alien attack. In search of survival, you command a small fleet that must assemble the pieces back together through colonization, technology research, and of course fight off the imminent alien force that is threatening your very existence. The story is given to you though talking portraits in game and when you hit certain milestones, you are treated to a motion comic that elaborates on the current events. There are three playable races: the survivalist humans, the insectoid Anthrox, and the cybernetic X’or, each with their own four episodes. There are predictable plot twists and unimagined characters making the overall story experience lackluster, proving again that 4X games don’t need a plot.

Features:

  • A complete 4X science fiction gaming experience- eXlore, eXpand, eXploit and eXterminate your way to galactic conquest.
  • Tactical space combat ? featuring a unique mix of turn-based and real-time strategy gameplay.
  • A realistic, immersive universe ? three races and 12 playable factions exist in a living-breathing universe populated by a huge variety of non-player civilizations.
  • Play alone or dominate with friends ? an extensive single-player campaign coupled with a strong multiplayer focus ensure an engaging experience.
  • Massive customization options ? design, build and deploy ships created from research into hundreds of technologies based on an extensive tech tree.
  • Make it yours ? modding options will be available, allowing players to customize missions, maps and more

BABEL RISING

Description:
Babel Rising puts you in the shoes of the great and angry God. Take all the rage and devastating divine power against human arrogance to stop them from building the tower of Babel. You should throw sacred lightnings, invoke punishing earthquakes and trigger vengeful floods to subdue the human foolishness and lack of reverence.

I never thought I would ever write these words, but the PlayStation Move controller is without a doubt the best way to experience this game. Aiming your powers feels completely effortless with it. You'll be pinpointing key targets with falling rocks and smoothly gesturing hurricane force winds across the precise path that your godly whims dictate. There are moments, where you're on the brink of defeat, with followers swarming the tower, and you suddenly hit this rhythm – deftly switching from power to power, skillfully bringing your entire elemental arsenal to bear. In these moments, Babel Rising feels like a good game. But those moments are rare, even with the Move controller.

Features:

  • Prevent the Rise of Babylon – Prevent humans from building three different towers of Babel throughout different historic eras, in 15 single-player missions across 4 game modes.
  • Babylon Will Perish – Thwart a wide variety of Babylonians united in their desire to build the tower, always looking for the quickest path to the top. Workers carry stones, priest protect workers from spells, and siege towers help them access upper levels faster.
  • You are in Control of the Elements – Unleash devastating elemental attacks based on fire, water, earth and air, each with a unique effect depending on the target. Throw fireballs, release tornadoes, rain meteors, and much more. As you progress, your powers become deadlier and more powerful than ever.

The Amazing Spider Man

Harness Spider-Man’s powers with Manhattan as your playground! Set shortly after the events of Columbia Pictures' new film, The Amazing Spider-Man throws New York City's brand new hero back into free-roaming, web-slinging action, as he protects the Big Apple from a deluge of unimaginable threats.

Spider-Man's Triumphant Return to New York - Everybody's favorite web-head is back in Manhattan with the return of the fan-favorite, free-roaming*, web-slinging gameplay.
Web Rush: Player Choice Evolved - Players use real-time navigational and combat choices to fight crime and pull off Spidey's signature acrobatic moves like never before.
Find Out What Happens Next - Uncover the rest of Peter Parker's untold story in the all-new epilogue story to the Columbia Pictures' 2012 blockbuster theatrical release.
Push Spider-Man's Abilities to the Limit - Battle all-new versions of classic Super Villains as well as original, larger than life enemies - some of the biggest ever seen in a Spider-Man video game - while racing to save Manhattan.

*Free roam available on PS3 and Xbox 360 systems only

There are also stealth sections, admittedly more appropriate to the Dark Knight than wise-cracking Spidey, but still fun when sticking to the shadows, thinning the herd one goon at a time.

So far so good, but in many ways The Amazing Spider-Man is more impressive to watch than play. Outdoors in the city, movement is basically a question of picking a direction and holding down a single button. Fortunately, you also have a Web Rush move that can pick out a spot and motion-blur towards it, slowing time as you do so to lock onto or web-shoot enemies.

Indeed, agility is one area where Spidey has Batman clearly beaten – with wall and roof crawls providing some stunning angles from which to view the action. However, when you try this is combat, you're up against a stubbornly roving camera that often reduces you to frantic button mashing as you try and orientate yourself.

Darksiders II

Darksiders II (SKIDROW) (Update 2) (2012/MULTi2/RePacked Patch&Crack by Gho $ t.)
2012 PC | English/Russian | Developer : Vigil Games Publisher : THQ / Beech | 370 MB
Genre : Action (Slasher) / 3D / 3D Person

Death, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, has taken it upon himself to clear his brother War's name of a crime he didn't commit: kick-starting the End Times without permission. Death sets out to accomplish this feat by visiting other worlds, talking with mystical beings, and killing things as he carries out their endless fetch quests. It sounds like a potentially rich backdrop to play around in, but Darksiders 2's narrative is awfully hard to follow. It's so wrapped up in coming up with myriad reasons to justify why Death needs to go spelunking through dungeons that by the time you reach the end you're not exactly sure what happened or if you've even succeeded.

Features:

• Play Death: Become the most feared of the legendary Four Horsemen, able to destroy entire worlds and battle forces beyond Heaven and Hell.

• Epic Universe: Unlike anything the player has seen before, delivered in the unique style of Joe Mad.

• Player Choice & Customization: Customize your experience with varied armor sets, weapons, and Skill Trees allowing players to create their own Death.

• Replay-ability: Explore a vast open world, complete dozens of side quests and customize your Death with a full leveling system, Skill Trees and endless equipment combinations.

• Traversal: Death is a nimble and agile character capable of incredible acrobatic feats allowing the player to explore the world like never before.

Adventures Of Shuggy

The Adventures of Shuggy is a retro-styled 2D platform game available on XBox Live Arcade and PC via DRM-free direct download and Steam. It's a 2D platformer containing a variety of different levels with a leaning towards puzzles. There are over 100 single player levels and 36 Co-Op levels connected through a gradually unlocking map screen ensuring there is always a variety of levels to choose from. Various different mechanics give each level a fresh spin with Shuggy travelling in time, swinging on ropes, rotating levels, turning to a zombie, shrinking, growing, flying, teleporting and more. The game takes place in an old Scottish mansion recently inherited by young Shuggy, a cartoon vampire. To clear the mansion of evil spirits he must venture through the five different areas of the mansi..

Shuggy is a throwback to the days when you didn’t need to learn dozens of keyboard/mouse combinations to control your games. All you need are the WASD keys for movement, plus a jump button and one to trigger any special ability that might be in play. Specific keys can be reconfigured through the options menu (pro tip: when mapping the ability key, use one located far enough away from the movement cluster that you have to use your free hand. Unless, of course, you enjoy playing Finger Twister.). The 100+ rooms are spread out amongst five areas. Enter any room with an open door by standing in front of it and pressing the ability key. Once inside, you have to pick up all of the gems in the maze without touching an enemy, which results in instant death. Clearing a room unlocks others in your current hub area, and each hub has a room that houses a boss that has to be defeated.

Features:
  • Co-op play – Play 36 twisted two-player levels in the offline co-op mode, with puzzles that can only be completed through cunning and teamwork.
  • Non-linear map screen – Multiple routes through the castle ensure you’ll be able to find another route if you get stuck.
  • Boss encounters – Use your wit and cunning to defeat the dastardly bosses in each area of the castle.
  • Time travel – Get caught in a time loop and co-operate with your past echoes.
  • Rotation – Spin whole levels or interlocking puzzle sections to grab all the gems.
  • Seeing double – Utilize multiple Shuggys under the influence of different gravities.
  • Teleportation – Use Shuggy’s teleporter to solve some tricky conundrums.
  • Tied up in knots – Grab the magic rope and swing your way to victory.

You can play all of your Hero Academy matches at your desk, on your iPad, or on the go with your iPhone! When you purchase the game on Steam you’ll unlock an exclusive heroic team featuring the mercenaries from Valve’s Team Fortress 2.

The game can be thought of as a cross between a strategy card game and chess. You start with 6 random pieces from your team, which can be units, power-ups, equipment or spells. You then have five actions to play. Placing something from your "hand" to the board (i.e. placing a unit, using a power-up, etc) costs one action as does movement, attacking and any ability a unit may possess. Each opponent takes turns using their five actions to fight, defend or cause some mayhem.

Features:

  • Easy to learn – jump right in and play!
  • Play with your Steam friends or random opponents
  • Colorful light-hearted graphics and sound
  • Random playfields keeps battles fresh!
